Yes we do, towels and linen are included in the cleaning fees that you already paid.
Unfortunately, it has become very difficult to find a 24hr free parking around all Garda, fortunately there is a free parking lot just 5min walking from the flat which is named “Parcheggio Caserma Maiolini” and located in front of Giallo Limone Beach Centre (on the other side of Gardesana road), here-below the indication by Google Map
One pet is normally permitted if she/he is not too noisy in order to not disturb neighbourhood.
There are some good restaurants nearby, here-below the ones suggested by me:
VILLA DI GARGNANO
“Ristorante La Bissa” (just in front of building entrance) within “Hotel du Lac” with a nice terrace in front of lake
“Osteria del Restauro” now it is named Civico 20) which is located in port, with a very good menu
Il “Ristorante Fornico” (upon the hill, need to drive up-there => 10mins) which is very good for local dishes of which “lo spiedo” (local barbeque)
GARGNANO
“Trattoria San Martino” (just after the church of San Francesco on the right), a bit expensive but it has a very good menu and a smart design with some tables on a pier.
BOGLIACO
“Trattoria Al Marinaio” (in the village before Villa di Gargnano going towards Salò”), recommended definitely for lake fish
Yes, there is a small grocery store just next to port, 20 meters from apartment. Otherwise, there is a bigger one which is named “Auchan” at Piazzale Salvo d’Acquisto, 19, 25088 Toscolano Maderno.
P.S. I advise to double-check with the Tourist Office in Gargnano (P.zza Boldini, 2 – Gargnano, website: www.gargnanosulgarda.it).
There are several hiking tracks nearby just upon the lake, I personally advice:
“Monte Comer/Denervo” (easy level, 2-3 hrs) is a peak just upon Gargnano and it starts from Muslone, a nice village upon a cliff.
“Monte Pizzoccolo” (easy level, 4 hrs), by car from the bridge of Toscolano-Maderno until Sonico village where the track starts.
“Monte Baldo” (medium level, 4-5 hrs), it’s a mount located upon Malcesine on the other lake side and it’s connected by a lift for the beginning ascent (from Gargnano you can also take the ferry in order to get to Malcesine)
“Via dell’Amicizia – Ferrata del Centenaro” (advanced level, 6 hrs) in Riva del Garda, it’s quite technical (ropes and ladders) with an impressive lake view, you need to be equipped (ropes, helmet, etc.).
PS It is strongly recommendable to bring proper hiking shoes.
Bike rental in Gargnano => http://www.gardabikevalvestino.it/
VALVESTINO: Upon Gargnano there is also Valvestino, a valley (30min driving) which is famous for biking with the biggest artificial lake of Italy.
PREGASINA: Pregasina is a village upon the northern-western side of lake and it’s the destination of a biking track (mountain-bike) starting from Riva del Garda and it has a fabulous panorama.
Windsurfing/kayaking: Less than 1km from the apartment at Gargnano, there is a windsurfing school (“Centro Le Fontanelle”) where to take lessons or to rent a kayak from May to September.
Tennis: Courts are located in Bogliaco village which is 5-10min walking distant from the apartment for info www.tennisbogliaco.it
Kitesurf: In recent years this sport has got an incredible rise in terms of popularity in Garda, you can take it up at Campione del Garda (10min by car from Gargnano up to North)
Golf: If you like golfing there’s a golf court in Bogliaco village: www.golfbogliaco.com.
Very beautiful villages to visit by car: Gargnano (2min), Muslone (10min), Salò (25min), Limone del Garda (20min), Tremosine (35min), Riva del Garda (25min).
A visit to the nearby Hruska Botanical Gardens, which belongs to André Heller and the ‘Vittoriale’ the former estate of Gabriele d’Annunzio in Gardone Riviera are absolutely worth seeing.
If you want to spend a day at SPA, I suggest the one in Grand Hotel Fasano at Fasano village, which is open from 10am to 6pm: http://www.ghf.it/ita/index.htm.
The Piano Bar at “La Torre” in Gardone is a romantic, very special place – even to go dancing (open from July to September)
Another place for chilling-out is named “Langhiparma” in Gargnano which is a restaurant with live music a few nites per week.
If you want to have a dinner in Riva del Garda, afterwards it’s possible to go dancing at “Marina Beach Club” with a nice port view.
